Great post and lovely reflective writing .This to my mind is the way to go with the work –all the evidence searching in incisive reflection seems to diminish the effect . We need to be more self reflective and considered . Maybe this is an age thing .I keep going because of the interaction with people –not so bothered by the RCT evidence anymore . Yesterday I had a normally sane lady in the back pain clinic with Cx pain who after an endoscopy basically strained her ageing neck and developed bilateral neck and arm pain . She was forcefully manipulated and her traps mechanically massaged by some device and made ten times worse- so her anxiety ramped up full of anger she arrived 10 months later demanding an MRI ….The losenge turned out to be more of a bag full of irritating fisher
